3600 Series consists of a 1 1/8" diameter 16-gauge tubular steel frame.

Frame: The 1 1/8" diameter, 16 gauge tubular steel frame is self supporting and provides an even, level work surface.
A 16 gauge steel tube connects the front and back legs for additional support.
The seat is attached to the frame with steel rivets underneath the seat, which offers no exposed hardware on the surface.
Seats: Heavy duty and static free, high-density polypropylene material with a light grain surface, injection molded into a one-piece shell shell unit with 17 heavy duty reinforcing structural ribs.

Top: The Ovation! student desk is available with fiberboard or solid plastic top.

The solid plastic top is standard with the "Ergo Edge", Scholar Craft's exclusive design for added comfort.
The solid plastic work surface is made of 5/8" solid plastic consisting of wood flour and melamine resin with binder component to assure a hard, smooth, stain resistant surface.
The fiberboard tops are standard with a urethane painted edge or you can choose Herculene edge for even greater strength.

Metal Finish: Bright nickel chrome plating meets all present requirements for non-corrosive and abrasion resistant finish.

Glides: To be 5/8" outside gripping, silent, rubber cushioned, swivel of self-leveling 1" minimum diameter hard carbon steel - nylon base type, with a flat bottom and chrome plated finish.
Four adjustable glides per unit for ease of leveling.
